How it Works
Step 1After consultation & nerve conduction tests, your doctor evaluates the severity of your carpal tunnel syndrome and recommends the right procedure.
Step 2Local anaesthesia is given, and the transverse carpal ligament is released endoscopically or through a small incision. The procedure usually takes 15 - 30 minutes.
Step 3Patients are monitored post-surgery; most patients go home the same day with light bandaging.
Step 4Endoscopic surgery patients recover in 1 - 2 weeks, while open surgery patients take 2 - 4 weeks of healing.
