How it Works
Your Ureteroscopy Journey at Even Hospitals
Step 1Consultation & Diagnosis
After consultation and imaging (X-ray KUB, ultrasound, or non-contrast CT), your urologist evaluates the stone size, location, and density and recommends semi-rigid or flexible ureteroscopy.
Step 2Surgery & Laser Lithotripsy
Anaesthesia is given and the ureteroscope is passed through the urinary passage to fragment the stone with a holmium laser. The procedure usually takes 30 - 90 minutes.
Step 3Post-Surgery Care
Patients are monitored for a few hours; most are discharged the same day with a DJ stent, oral medications, and instructions on hydration and stent care.
Step 4Recovery & Follow-Up
