How it Works
Your Thyroglossal Cyst / Fistula Excision Journey at Even Hospitals

After consultation, ultrasound, and thyroid function tests (and FNA if indicated), your ENT surgeon plans Sistrunk or extended Sistrunk procedure.
Step 2Surgery & Sistrunk Excision
General anaesthesia is given; the cyst, central hyoid bone, and tract are excised through a transverse neck incision. The procedure usually takes 60 - 120 minutes.
Step 3Post-Surgery Care
