How it Works
Step 1After consultation, proctoscopy or sigmoidoscopy, your general surgeon classifies the piles grade and recommends laser or stapler surgery.
Step 2Spinal anaesthesia is given and the haemorrhoids are treated with a diode laser (no cuts) or a circular stapler. The procedure usually takes 20 - 45 minutes.
Step 3Patients are monitored for a few hours; most are discharged the same day with pain control, stool softeners, and a clear high-fibre diet plan.
Step 4Recovery typically takes 2 - 5 days with serial follow-ups, a high-fibre diet, and lifestyle advice to prevent recurrence.
