After consultation, flexible laryngoscopy, imaging, and biopsy, your ENT surgeon plans laryngofissure with standard or extended excision.
Step 2Surgery & Lesion Excision
General anaesthesia is given and the larynx is split vertically to expose and excise the lesion, with local reconstruction if needed. The procedure usually takes 2 - 4 hours.
